United Airlines has added its Economy Plus seating to all of its Boeing 757-200 jets that fly on international routes. The seating section offers about six inches more legroom than at United's typical economy class seats

Delta has increased its baggage fee to $100 USD/CAD from $75 USD/CAD to check a second bag at the airport for travel from the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, Central America, South America (excluding Brazil) to Europe and North Africa. Visit Delta's website for more information.

South African Airways (SAA) started flying to Pointe Noire in the Congo on January 26, 2012. Pointe Noire, the economic capital of the Congo is SAA's fourth new destination on the continent for the 2011/12 financial year, joining Ndola (Zambia), Kigali (Rwanda) and Bujumbura (Burundi) as the airline's most recent additions to its expansive route network in Africa. 

American Airlines is expanding its presence in Brazil, increasing the total number of weekly flights between Dallas-Fort Worth and Sao Paulo from seven times per week to 12 times per week beginning June 14, 2012. Also on June 14th, flights from Miami to Brasilia and to Belo Horizonte will increase from five and three times per week, respectively, to daily
